Silver lining for MAC 21U girls

The Mountain Athletic Club (MAC) volleyball 21U girls’ team won the silver medal at the 21U Provincial Championships held at Brock University in St. Catharines.

In pool play, MAC finished first, defeating London Forest City 25-17, 25-19 and the Peel Selects 25-6, 25-11. In the semifinals, they defeated the Predators 25-23, 25-22 and lost to the Brock Volleyball Club 25-23, 22-25 and 8-15 in the championship match.

MAC’s Gen Dumas and Laura Cobb were named to the All-Star team. The MAC 21U roster also includes Waterdown athletes Amanda Weldon and Chantal Renaud.
