Blood clinic Monday

News Nov 22, 2006 Flamborough Review

On behalf of Candian Blood Services I would like to thank everyone who attended the Waterdown donor clinic on December 16 at St. Thomas School, where we collected an impressive 58 units. Since every unit of blood can be used to help save or improve the lives of up to three people, your donations could help as many as 174 people in need!

A special thank you goes out to the Canadian Reformed Church in Flamborough for providing refreshments. Also, thank you to St. Thomas School along with all of the volunteers who helped make the day a success and, of course, to all those who came out to donate. Thank you for being everyday heroes!

The need for blood is continually increasing and your donations have truly made a difference in the lives of others. We sincerely appreciate your generosity.

The next clinic will be held at St. Thomas The Apostle Parish, 715 Centre Rd. Waterdown, on Monday, January 9 from 2:30-7:30 p.m.

We look forward to seeing you at our next community clinic!
