Hamilton’s Public Works Department was slated to begin work to remove and replace concrete culverts on Puslinch Townline Road between Maddaugh Road and Victoria Road on Thursday, July 2.

The work is expected to continue weekdays until the middle of September. During this construction period, the road will be closed to traffic. Vehicles using this portion of Puslinch Townline Road will be required to use an alternate route.

Dufferin Construction Company has been contracted to complete the work, which also includes roadway restoration in the immediate proximity of the new culverts.

The project is part of the 2009 Bridge and Culvert Program that will be taking place throughout the rural sections of the city over the next few months. Hamilton’s Public Works Department asks motorists and residents for their cooperation and patience as crews continue to revitalize roads infrastructure.
