The Catholic Youth Organization is hosting its 25th C.Y.O. Celebrity Dinner and Children’s Fundraiser next Wednesday (January 13) and community residents are welcome to attend.

For the past 25 years, proceeds from the annual Celebrity Dinner and Children’s Fundraiser have enabled more than 6,000 children with physical or developmental disabilities and those less fortunate to enjoy a variety of fun activities at the C.Y.O.’s Brébeuf and Marydale camps.

The event is slated to take place at the Hamilton Convention Centre’s Webster A and B lounges (1 Summers Lane, Hamilton). Lunch will be served at 12 (noon) with presentations to follow.

Fundraising goal

This year, the C.Y.O. hopes to reach its fundraising goal of $70,000 to support children living in the community. The Celebrity Dinner will serve as the annual fundraiser kickoff. Individuals interested in attending the event are asked to R.S.V.P. by today (January 8) by contacting Mel Leggat by phone at 905-528-0011 ext. 3608 or by email at mel.leggat@cyo.on.ca.
