For the second year running, franchises across the country (including the store on Hamilton Street North in Waterdown) are hosting the annual 31¢ Scoop Night in support of the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation (CFFF).

During the event, which runs from 5-10 p.m., customers will receive a 2.5 oz. scoop of their favourite ice cream flavour in a cup or a cone, or a 3.5 oz. Soft Serve cone for 31¢, plus taxes. They will also have the opportunity to make a donation in the store to the CFFF.

In March, Baskin Robbins introduced a limited edition “Forget Me Not” sundae, of which a portion of the proceeds will also be donated to assist families of fallen firefighters through CFFF. Available through April 30, the sundae retails for $2.99 and features Soft Serve vanilla ice cream and cookie crumbs drizzled with chocolate fudge.

Last year’s Scoop Night raised $30,000 for the CFFF For more information, visit www.cfff.ca.
