Recently, five young players (Dustyn McFaul, Braedon McCarles, Freddy Ilias, Bobby Harrison, and Justin Coles) moved up from the Flamborough Hockey association to the Major Atom Hamilton Junior Bulldogs AAA team.

Heading into their first regular season game with a 9-2-1 record, the Bulldogs dominated at the Toronto Marlboro Tournament, which ran from September 10-12. They won all four of their round-robin games before moving on to defeat the host team Toronto Marlboros 4-3 in the quarter-finals and the defending OMHA champions, York Simcoe, in the semifinal. The Bulldogs sealed the deal with a 6-4 win over the Mississauga Rebels, who went undefeated in tournament play last season.

The Jr. Bulldogs kick off their OMHA season in Burlington this Sunday (September 26) and their home opener at the Mohawk Quad Pad is slated for Wednesday, September 29 at 7:15 p.m.
