...and baby helps ring in the New Year

News Nov 22, 2006 Flamborough Review

It was "gentleman first" for the Review's 2006 First Baby of the Year contest, which closed last week. The first arrival made his appearance January 2 and was followed a day later by Flamborough's first baby girl of the New Year.

The Flamborough Review's editorial staff is busy getting the scoop on the little ones whose stories and photos will soon be featured in the newspaper.

The Review will present the winners' parents with a letter of certification that they will present to several local businesses in order to collect an array of attractive and useful gifts. Among the prizes are: a $25 gift certificate from Magnolia House Spa; a free initial consultation from Health First Chiropractic Clinic; a baby basket from Sobeys; a Gund teddy bear from Boonstra's One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning; a $25 gift voucher from The Plainsman Restaurant; two dozen donuts from Tim Hortons; baby booties from Cedar's Business Centre; a complimentary motor vehicle inspection for the babies' main transportation from Jay's Auto Services; a new savings account for the two new arrivals with $25 already deposited at TD Canada Trust, plus many more exciting gifts.

Congratulations to the winners and their parents.
