Partridge wins Ward 15 seat

The final Ward 15 poll results have finally been posted, two hours after the close of the 2010 municipal election.

Carlisle resident Judi Partridge will represent east Flamborough at city hall when the new session starts. She earned 3,396 votes. 

Long-time Waterdown resident and businessman Neil Bos garnered 2,767 votes and Brian Gaspar earned 279 votes. 

Former Ward 2 councillor Bob Bratina led in the polls right from the beginning of the evening, and has been declared the new mayor of Hamilton. In Ward 2, the race comes down to the final poll, with former  radio personality Jason Farr with a slight lead over Matt Jelly. The only other close race is in Glanbrook, where Ward 11 Dave Mitchell leads challenger Brenda Johnson by just 50 votes, with one poll remaining.

In the other 13 wards, all incumbents have been returned to the council.
