Green candidate confident he'll get 10 per cent of ADFW vote

ADFW candidate Peter Ormond is enjoying a gathering of

Hamilton Greens at Artword Artbar in downtown Hamilton.

He told Review reporter Catherine O’Hara that he doesn't know

what to expect this evening but is hopeful change is on the horizon.

"I hope people understand that the current system needs

to evolve to something that is more sustainable," he said.

As he awaits the election results, Ormond said  he's optimistic he'll secure 10 per cent

of the vote in ADFW. In 2008, he garnered 9.1 per cent of the local vote.
