Sabres rattle Hespeler

The Flamborough Sabres Novice AEs have pulled ahead of Hespeler in OMHA playoff action.

Going into the weekend tied at a game apiece, the Sabres held Hespeler to a 1-1 tie through the end of regulation time and 10 minutes of overtime. Jake Riggs scored the Flamborough marker, on an assist by Andrew Konstantinidis.

The Sabres came back for the win in Game 4, with goals from Luc Chhina, Brock Stevens and Spencer Ritchie. Travis Hopkins, Graham Biggs, Lexie Pereira, Quinlan Butler, Bradley Grightmire and Stewart Leenders provided excellent defence in both outings.
