The Hamilton Police Services Board is sticking with the tried and true.

On January 16, board members re-elected Hamilton councillor Bernie Morelli as Chair, in a unanimous vote.

A nine-year member of the Hamilton Police Services Board, Morelli has served as its Chair for seven years. He is also the First Vice-President of the Ontario Association of Police Services Board (OAPSB).

At the same meeting, Mark Nimigan was re-elected as Vice-Chair of the Board. This is a one-year appointment. Appointed by the Provincial Government, Nimigan has served on the Board since 2003.
