News Jan 14, 2014 Flamborough Review

A Waterdown restaurant owner is the first Flamborough candidate to officially throw his hat into the ring.

Neil Bos registered his candidacy on Tuesday (January 14). He is hoping to secure the Ward 15 seat around the Hamilton City Council table in the October 27 municipal election.

Bos, owner and operator of Village Fish and Chips, previously served as an elected official on the former Flamborough Town Council and the Waterdown Hydro Commission.

While no other Flamborough candidates have filed their nomination papers, councillors Judi Partridge (Ward 15) and Robert Pasuta (Ward 14) have confirmed their intentions to do so before the September 12 deadline.

So far, three people have entered the mayoral race. They include perennial candidate Michael Baldassaro, Crystal Lavigne and Brian McHattie, councillor for Ward 1.
