Fire rips through Flamborough workshop

Damage is estimated at $150,000 after a fire destroyed a workshop/storage facility located at 690 Ofield Rd., near Concession 4 Road West, early Wednesday (Dec. 12) morning.

More than 50 Hamilton firefighters responded to the scene along with four firetrucks and five tankers.

Due to the extensive fire damage, Hamilton Emergency Service – Fire information officer Dave Christopher said crews were unable to determine the a cause for the blaze.

The one-storey facility housed farm and woodworking equipment.

There were no reported injuries.
