The Ontario Provincial Police is currently investigating a fatal collision on Hwy. 6 in Flamborough.

UPDATE: OPP seeks witnesses to fatal crash

According to the OPP, Hwy. 6 is closed between the 7th Concession and Carlisle Road. It is unknown when the road will re-open.

A media release issued at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, January 17 noted that provincial police were kept busy responding to a number motor vehicle collisions in the area as a result of poor weather conditions.

"OPP are reminding motorists to use extreme caution as the weather deteriorates," reads the release.
