Hamilton hosts Cleanup Blitz

WhatsOn Apr 05, 2013 Flamborough Review

Conservation Halton and the City of Hamilton are inviting all area residents to participate in a CleanUp Blitz at King Road and Waterdown Woods this Saturday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

With King Road closed for the Jefferson Salamander’s annual migration to lay eggs, it was deemed an opportune time to remove litter and debris from this environmentally-sensitive area.

Parking will be available on the north side of Mountain Brow Road in front of the closure. All volunteers are asked to register at the on-site tent and are encouraged to wear closed-toed shoes. Supplies will be provided.
