FLAMBOROUGH SENIORS: You're never too old to play

The season for the OSGA District 22 Spring Senior Games is approaching. Seniors can choose to play in the social stream or the competitive level. During May and June, more than 10,000 seniors across the province will compete for bronze, silver and gold medals.

Participants do not need to belong to any seniors centre to register. These games are open to all seniors across the province.

Following is a list of the games and where they are being played. Registration forms are available at the Flamborough Senior’s Centre, located in the new library at 163 Dundas St. E. Waterdown.

• May 2: Duplicate Bridge, 10 a.m., Ancaster Senior Achievement Centre

• May 3: Carpet Bowling, 1:30 p.m. Sackville Hill Senior Centre

• May 4: Snooker, 10 a.m., Sackville Hill Senior Centre

• May 6: Shuffleboard, 10 a.m., Winona Senior Centre

• May 9: Tennis, 9 a.m., Rosedale Tennis Club

• Tues. May 10: Tennis, 9 a.m., Oak Gables Golf Club Ancaster

• May 11: Bid Euchre, 12:30 p.m., Rosedale Seniors Centre

• May 11: 5-pin Bowling, 1 p.m., Waterdown Lanes

• May 12: Darts, 10 a.m., Waterdown Legion

• May 17: Pickleball, (Men’s, Women’s) 12 p.m., Ancaster Rotary Centre

• May 18: Euchre, 1:00 p.m., Deerview Retirement Residence

• May 19: Pickleball, Mixed Doubles, 12 p.m., Ancaster Rotary Centre

• May 25: Cribbage, 1 p.m., Winona Senior Centre

• May 25: Swimming (prediction, open sprint), 2 p.m., Dundas Community Pool
